Downtown Hightstown Inc, a local organization comprised of Hightstown Borough officials, local business owners and residents, was formed to preserve and enhance the unique assets of Hightstown’s downtown area, to combat community deterioration and to educate the public regarding the history, diversity and culture of Hightstown. Our first step was to launch the website www.DowntownHightstown.org in May 2008. Over the past year this website has acted as portal for cultural and community events, a destination for people to learn more about Hightstown, and a place for our local business owners to gain free promotion. We are aggressively advertising this website to attract local patrons as well as the wide world beyond Hightstown!

We are currently developing a “Visit Downtown Hightstown” brochure, plan on holding the 2nd Annual Downtown Holiday Storefront and Window Decorating Contest, a Farmers Market by the Lake, as well as other promotions and activities that will draw more people to town.

To accomplish all of this and to bring out the best in our downtown, we need your help.
