We’re looking for brief stories on what you like about living, working or visiting Hightstown. These “Spotlights” will rotate in appearance on our homepage, and for businesses, in our business directory. Please try to keep your story to 150 words or less, and photos under 1mb.

Resident Spotlight - Holly Moraitis

“My husband and I are now restoring our second home within the Stockton Street Historic District. Aside from loving the character and craftsmanship of the homes within the historic district, restoring our homes has become our weekend passion and has forged strong relationships with several neighbors that is reminiscent of neighborhoods in the “olden days”.

We are not alone in feeling that our efforts & our neighborhood has promoted increased vibrancy within Hightstown. Our holidays and summers are often spent at neighborhood barbeques, holiday parties, and even porch parties. The enthusiasm of progress and kinship that marked Stockton Street during the Victorian era in the late 1800's, has resurfaced in the 21st Century.”
